not virat kohli, rohit sharma or jasprit bumrah! bangladesh star names biggest challenge in series vs india

India are all set to return to action after 45 days as they take on Bangladesh in a two-match Test series beginning on September 19 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Some of the biggest player will be in action for the Indian team. While Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be the pillars with the bat in the series, Jasprit Bumrah has also been added to the squad for the first test despite rumours that he might be rested. However, none of these three superstars have been termed as the biggest threat by star Bangladesh wicketkeeper-batter Litton Das.

In an interaction with ESPN Cricinfo, Litton Das said that it will be harder to play with the SG ball in India. For the unversed, the ball made by the SG company is used in India, while the Kookaburra ball is mostly used elsewhere. Das said that the Kookaburra ball is easier to play when it gets old as compared to the SG ball.

"The ball will be a different one in India. It is a little harder to play against the SG ball. The Kookaburra ball is easier to play when it gets old. It is the opposite with the SG ball. It is harder to get away against the old ball when it's the SG," Litton Das said.

Bangladesh are coming into the Test Series against India on the back of a historic series win against Pakistan, where they became the first Asian team to clean sweep a Test series in Pakistan. However, Litton Das said that they don't want to delve in the past victories.

"We played good cricket against Pakistan, but it is already in the past. It is important for us to look forward. We will need your (media's) help. It would be helpful if you don't talk about the Pakistan series. As a player, it is already in the past for me," the star wicketkeeper-batter said.
