Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana gets bigger. According to the latest development, Amitabh Bachchan has joined the magnum opus to play a pivotal role. Mounted on a grand scale, the mythological drama is touted to be a visual spectacle.

As per a news portal’s report, Amitabh Bachchan will lend his voice to the divine bird Jatayu, who loses his wings during a battle with Ravan while attempting to rescue Sita during her abduction. The bird will be created with the help of VFX, Mr. Bachchan’s eyes have been reportedly scanned for further enhancement.
Ranbir Kapoor to play dual avatars of Lord Vishnu in Ramayana
In the report on PeepingMoon, a source close to Ramayana informed that Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in a double role. He will be playing the two avatars of Lord Vishnu, Ram and Parashuram. The source told, “In the Ramayana, Parashuram had a conflict with Ram after Shiva’s bow, Pinaka, was broken. He challenges Ram to bend Vishnu’s bow, and upon witnessing Ram succeed, he acknowledges Ram as an incarnation of Vishnu and retreats to his penance. Although Parashuram’s role in the epic is brief, it holds significant importance, and the filmmakers have ensured it reflects that. Ranbir will have a completely distinct and unrecognizable look as Parashuram.”
