Anushka Sharma Reveals How She Fools Daughter Into Eating Healthy
Anushka recently attended Slurrp Farm’s YES Moms & Dads event, where theRab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress was asked how she manages to keep junk food at bay. Anushka admitted, “That’s a tough one!” She explained that with the first child, parents can create a little world of their own, where the kid only eats what the parents want them to. She even joked about how easy it is to fool them before they hit birthday party age. “They don’t even know cakes and pizzas exist!” she laughed, adding that once they do, it’s like they’re suddenly suspicious, thinking, “Wait, what’s mom been hiding from me?”

Anushka Shares Vamika's Reaction
Anushka, a hands-on mom, shared how she tries to teach Vamika the value of healthy eating by giving her fun, animated explanations. She tells her daughter that certain foods give us lasting energy to play, while others just make us crash. But even with her best efforts, Anushka admitted with a smile, “I don’t think she’s buying it!” She added that she often pulls out her acting skills, giving long, entertaining speeches to make it fun, though she’s still unsure if Vamika’s convinced. “I also pick days and give a very lengthy explanation, which I try to make fun. I bring out the actress in me,” the actress said at the event.
The Sultan star also revealed that she and Virat love whipping up homemade meals, introducing their kids to the traditional dishes they grew up on. It’s all part of their plan to make family meals both meaningful and healthy.
