The aunt of the Georgia school shooting suspect opposed his arrest, saying she will go 'full throttle' on anyone speaking ill of the 14-year-old. Her statement came a day after the Apalachee High School student shot and killed four people on campus and injured at least nine, authorities confirmed. He has been charged with felony murder and will appear in court on Friday, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced Thursday.
The suspect's aunt, Annie Polhamus Brown, said in a series of since-removed Facebook posts that he was let down by adults around him. "They are charging my 14yo nephew as an adult, for murder,” Brown wrote after authorities identified the teenager on Wednesday.
