It's September 2 and Kichcha Sudeepa's fans are in high spirits as they celebrate their favourite Kannada star, known as Abhinaya Chakravarthy on his birthday today.
Following previous year's commotion at his residence that led him to cut short his meeting with his fans, the actor-director has said that a separate arrangement has been made for his fans to meet him at MES Ground in Jayanagar, Bengaluru between 10 am and 12 pm.
Recently, Kichcha Sudeepa shared as to why he no longer prefers cakes and garlands on his birthday.
Everyone wants a piece of cake but…
Speaking to the media persons, Kichcha Sudeepa urged his fans to avoid bringing cakes and huge garlands on his birthday.
“Since many bring cakes of all kinds on my birthday, I would eat a bit even when I no longer could take it. Sometimes, I would have difficulty but I would still come back and eat a few,” Kichcha Sudeep said.
He goes on to say that when he noticed a lot of cakes being wasted and some even thrown on the road including garlands, he decided not to encourage it further.
“One day, when I drove past my house along with my daughter, I saw a kid feeding the thrown away cake to a small kid, I could not take it. Hence, please do not bring any cake or garlands. I value the person who comes to meet me more than what they bring to me on my birthday,” he explains.

Do not waste the money
About the garlands, the Kannada star says, “A lot of preparation and money goes into getting such huge garlands on my birthday. My neck would break off if I were to wear it. It is all for just a couple of moments. Thereafter, the garlands are seen abandoned or thrown away,” Kichcha Sudeepa notes.
Instead, he urged his fans to make use of the same money for the needy.
