A source who spoke to People, shared updates on Pax’s condition, sharing that while he’s out of the ICU, he’s still dealing with “complex trauma” and is undergoing physical therapy as part of his long road to recovery. At the time of the accident, Jolie was reportedly distraught after receiving the news, with her other children rallying around Pax to support him.

Brad Pitt, despite being estranged from his adult children, has been kept in the loop about Pax’s recovery. The source noted that while Pitt hasn’t had contact with Pax in years, he still cares deeply about his son's well-being.

Angeline Jolie Gave Son Pax's Health Updates

In a mid-August interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the Maleficient actress confirmed that Pax was recovering but chose not to disclose further details. During the interview, she also reflected on the emotional support Pax and her other son, Maddox, provided while working on the set of her film Maria. The actress shared how much it meant to have them close, especially during tough moments on set.

She shared, “When I would have really heavy times, they would come over and just give me a hug or a cup of tea. Usually when I’m expressing that much pain, it’s not in front of my children. You really try to hide from your children how much pain and sadness you carry. So for them to be with you when you’re expressing it at such a level, I think it was the first time they ever heard me cry like that. That’s usually for the shower."
