Elon Musk reacted to Tucker Carlson's interview with former US State Department official Mike Benz, where the two suspected potential Biden administration and US embassy's role in the arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov. The Tesla and SpaceX boss said it is a 'concerning possibility'. Durov was detained at an airport outside Paris earlier this week. The Russia-born entrepreuner was spotted dressed in black and wearing dark glasses, walking out of a court house after he was granted a bail.

Durov has been charged and is under judicial supervision.
Talking to former Fox News host Carlson, Benz said that he initially suspected the US embassy's role in Pavel Durov's arrest. However, there is no evidence to prove the claim. The ex-State Department official added that the Congress should address the detention.

"Was the Biden administration involved in the arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov? Mike Benz explains," Carlson titled the two-hour interview. "A concerning possibility," Elon Musk reacted to the video on X, platform formerly known as Twitter.
Meanwhile, Durov's lawyer on Thursday said that the case against him is 'absurd'. This comes as several free-speech activists have slammed French authorities for their action against the Telegram CEO and founder.

France President Emmanuel Macron said Pavel Durov's arrest was not politically motivated. "I was absolutely unaware of Mr Durov's arrival in France, and that is quite normal. This is an independent action by the French justice system," Macron told a news conference in Serbia on Thursday.
