A vocal Donald Trump supporter and founder of Students For Trump Ryan Fournier on Thursday cited McDonald's sources to claim that the food chain has no record of Vice President Kamala Harris working at any of their locations. However, the American multinational chain has not issued any official statement to back Fournier's claim. This comes hours after right-wing outlet The Free Beacon published an article suggesting that the Democratic presidential nominee did not mention her McDonald's stint in her resume.

VP Kamala Harris has often spoken of her time working as a cashier, fry-maker, and ice cream server at McDonald's while she was a student at Howard University in 1983. The summer job has become a key element in the Harris-Walz ticket's campaign materials. Former president Bill Clinton also joked at the Democratic National Convention, saying: Harris 'broke my record as the president who has spent the most time at McDonald’s'.
