New Delhi: Three minors have been apprehended by the Delhi Police allegedly for killing a five-year-old boy in a madrasa where the deceased had shifted nearly five months ago. According to the police, the accused group of senior students in the madrasa thought that the institution would announce a leave if the deceased would die, and they could go back to their homes. The victim’s dead body was found in mysterious circumstances with several injuries in the madrasa in Dayalpur area of North East Delhi, which led to a police scrutiny immediately.
At first, the principal of the institution called it a "skin disease," but the post mortem reports dismissed the claims, stating that the marks on his body were injuries. The protesting kins of the deceased alleged that the kid sustained injuries on his neck, stomach and private parts. The post-mortem reports found that the kid died due to the ruptured liver, abdominal bleeding and bleeding inside right lung.
"Multiple internal injuries were found during Post Mortem examination. Internal injuries included abdominal bleeding, bleeding inside right lung and ruptured liver. The accused boys gave two reasons during questioning. First, deceased had used abusive words and second – If the victim died, leave would be declared and they could all go back to their homes," stated the Delhi Police.
"CCTV footage has confirmed the findings. Role of others is being investigated. A case of murder, u/s 103/3(5) BNS is being registered in PS. Dayalpur. Further investigation is in progress," added the police department.

The kids who allegedly took the life of the five-year-old were aged between 9-11, and were senior to the deceased in the madrasa. According to the police, the argument between the two parties started over the abusive language used by the deceased kid. A CCTV footage also confirmed the findings of the Delhi Police. The officials also suspect the role of other individuals in the death of the minor. A probe has been launched.
