Kannada actor Kiran Raj starrer Ronny, which was initially slated for release on August 30 has now been postponed by two weeks.
Here's Why…
The decision to postpone the release comes in light of the ongoing success of the films Bheema and Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi. The two Kannada films have been performing well at the box office.
The new release date for Ronny is now set for September 12.
Speaking to the mediapersons, the film's director, Gurutej Shetty explained in detail the reason behind the postponement.
While commending the success of Bheema and Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi, the director acknowledged the challenges of securing theatres due to the strong performance of the two films.
"Our film was supposed to release on August 30 but with the success of the two films, Ronny faces the challenge of securing theatres,” Gurutej Shetty said. He emphasised that the postponement is a strategic move to ensure a wider release and reach a larger audience.
