Mumbai: Former Big Boss contestant and actor Ajaz Khan has managed to secure just 103 votes, as per the latest trends. Khan, who has a massive fan base on social media, failed to convert his online popularity into votes. As per the latest trends, Khan, who is contesting the Maharashtra assembly elections from Versova seat, has managed to secure just 103 votes.
Ajaz Khan contested the elections on an Aazad Samaj Party (Kanshi Ram) ticket, led by Chandrashekhar Azad 'Ravan,' an MP from UP's Nagina.
As trends started pouring in for Maharashtra, netizens could not help but see the irony that a celebrity with 5.6 million followers on Instagram is struggling to get even 100 votes.

"This guy has 5.6 million followers on Instagram, he got 43 votes," a user wrote on X.
Netizens said the poll drubbing should serve as a "reality check" for the actor, highlighting that social media popularity does not necessarily translate into electoral success.
"Digital followers do not necessarily translate to votes. One has to do the hard work and work for the public in most cases," another user wrote.
"Proof that filters and hashtags don’t work in politics. Turns out democracy doesn’t care about reels or aesthetic feeds," a user said remarked.
The Versova constituency is witnessing an intense battle between Haroon Khan of Shiv Sena (UBT) and Bharati Lavekar of the BJP.
BJP-led Mahayuti looks all set to retain power with a thumping majority as the coalition is ahead on 221 seats, as per trends. The Opposition MVA alliance is currently leading on 57 seats.
