The 2025 Triumph Tiger 1200 has been launched in India. The update brings significant improvements to the entire Tiger 1200 range. Triumph has worked on the adventure tourer's engine, ergonomics, suspension, and stability. Besides this, the 2025 model year revisions also add new colour options to the Tiger 1200 family. The Tiger 1200 GT Pro, GT Explorer, Rally Pro, and Rally Explorer are powered by the same liquid-cooled, inline three-cylinder engine. Power output remains unchanged at 148 hp.

Engine Upgrades
Triumph says it has refined the Tiger 1200's inline-three engine. Revisions to the crankshaft, alternator rotor, and balancer have increased engine inertia. These, along with other small calibrations, have allowed the engine to deliver better low-end torque. Triumph says this will allow riders to experience smooth acceleration and deceleration at low speeds. The clutch has also been tweaked for a smoother engagement of the first gear.
Better Ergonomics
Apart from fiddling with the engine, Triumph has also adjusted the Tiger 1200 to improve its ergonomics. For instance, the 2025 models will feature a flatter design to reduce long-ride fatigue. The low seat, available as an accessory, has also been revised to lower the seat height by 20 mm. The dampened handlebars, previously only available on the Explorer models, will now be available on the Tiger 1200 GT Pro and Rally Pro. The foot peg positions on the GT Pro and GT Explorer have been raised, increasing cornering ground clearance on these trims.

New Colours
Triumph has made its Active Preload Reduction feature, which lowers the rear suspension when motorcycles comes to a stop, thereby reducing the seat height by 20mm, which is standard across the entire Tiger 1200 range. The GT Pro and GT Explorer are now available in a new Carnival Red paint scheme. Prices for the updated 2025 Triumph Tiger 1200 range start from Rs 19.38 lakh (ex-showroom).
