2025 Grammy Nominations were announced on Friday (November 8). The 67th Grammy Awards will take place on February 2, 2025, at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Honouring the best in music, the organising committee announced the nominees for the awards in various categories.

India stood tall among renowned names from different corners of the world. Putting the country on the global map once again, these 6 artistes shone brightly. From Ricky Kej to Anoushka Shankar, meet the Indian nominees of the 67th Grammy Awards.

Ricky Kej

Ricky Kej got nominated for the fourth time for his latest music album, Break of Dawn. It has been nominated in the Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album category. Ricky won his first Grammy award in 2015 for Winds of Samsara. In 2022, he bagged two more trophies in the category Best New Age Album and Best Immersive Audio Album for his album Divine Tides with The Police’s Stewart Copeland.

Anoushka Shankar, the daughter of Indian sitarist Ravi Shankar, has been nominated in the Best New Age, Ambient, Or Chant Album category for her album Chapter II: How Dark It Is Before Dawn. Apart from this, she has been also nominated in the Best Global Music Performance category for A Rock Somewhere.

Radhika Vekaria

Radhika Vekaria’s album, Warriors Of Light, is in the race to win an award in the Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album category. The vocals are in Sanskrit, Hindi, Tamil and English.
