The award season has kicked off with the 2024 KGMAs! A two-day buzzworthy festival which kicked off on Saturday, the 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards were hosted by Ilgan Sports, a leading sports entertainment publication in Korea. Popularly known as KGMAs, the award ceremony was a star studded affair with popular K-pop artists marking their starry presence, including the likes of EXO’s D.O, TVXQ, SHINee’s Taemin, (G)I-DLE, and many more. At the award ceremony, the Korean girls band NewJeans won the Best Artist Award. During their acceptance speech, they expressed gratitude toformer ADOR CEO and current executive producer Min Hee Jin.

On November 16, NewJeans shone brightly at the 1st KGMA, taking home the Best Artist Award at the Inspire Arena in Incheon. During their heartfelt acceptance speech, the girl group extended special thanks to former ADOR CEO and current executive producer Min Hee Jin, acknowledging her unwavering support. "We’ve come this far thanks to the love, support, and encouragement from everyone," they said.
Expressing gratitude, they added, "A huge thanks to all the staff who stand by us, the fans who cheer for us, and especially Min Hee Jin, who has always been our biggest supporter. We look forward to continuing this journey with her for a long time."
Their speech comes amidst ongoing support for Min Hee Jin, even as she faces challenges with HYBE, and follows NewJeans’ recent certified demands sent to ADOR.

The first day of the Korea Grand Music Awards (KGMA) on November 16 brought a star-studded lineup of performances under The Artist Day theme. The stage lit up with acts like NewJeans, EXO’s D.O., TVXQ, (G)I-DLE, BIBI, STAYC, ZEROBASEONE, SHINee’s Taemin, P1Harmony, Youngtak, Lee Youngji, Lee Mujin, QWER, JD1, and Yoo Hwe Seung. Fans also got a glimpse of the talent brewing in the industry as 70 contestants from the survival show PROJECT 7 performed. The 2024 Korea Grand Music Awards Day 2 ceremony will be broadcast tomorrow on November 17.
